If changing the filter doesn’t reset the “Replace Water Filter” light, hold down the “Water” button for 3 seconds. This will produce a tone confirming the dispenser has been reset.

This filter is replacement for GE RPWFE refrigerator water filter, regardless of the cost – a mixture of prior filtration performance and important certifications from the regulatory body in the industry – NSF 42 and NSF 372 certificates.
